Patty Murray...the person that will ensure that Cantwell wins in 2006. We will have her to blame. She does NOT want a Republican colleague and will do whatever she has to to make sure that her buddy Cantwell wins. I look for her to do commericals, etc. I have heard what she says about her - she gushes about her all the time. Calling her her "great, wonderful, fabulous" colleague at a forum back in 2001. She is Cantwell's biggest fan.
If Cantwell happened to lose, I think Murray would be more upset than Cantwell herself.
I don't doubt it. Without Cantwell there to tell her what to do, she doesn't have a clue as to what's going on.
Before Cantwell got there, Murray proposed legislation that was already law on guns. But now mommy takes care of her.

It's really true. When I see the two of them at a forum or an event I always laugh at the way they act. I know it's completely innocent but sometimes it's just so unprofessional sounding. Like when Murray called her "great, wonderful, fabulous colleague" - was that necessary? That was at a forum I saw in 2001 - it was about health care. After Cantwell made her closing remarks, Murray actually told the auidence to clap for her! It was pathetic.
Did you happen to see that social security forum they did with the Senators from Maryland and Lousiana awhile back? I caught it on TVW. Towards the end, Cantwell stumbled majorly on a question asked by an audience member, and Murray was looking at her like she wanted to take the paper away and bail her out. She was probably thinking, "Wow! My goddess Maria doesn't know what to say! I'd be better be quiet." The Senator from Louisina eventually answered the question.
LOL Campaign season is going to be so funny...

Boy, this blog IS boring!
Having a blog about Cantwell is sort of like have a movie script about the life of a doorknob.
But, while we don't needs movies about doorknobs, I guess that since this woman is a Senator, there would have to be a blog about her.
The the sake of Mary, I just saw her on CNN talking about her plan to reduce US oil consumption by 40%. I don't know if she really is that stupid, or she is brilliant enough to realize that she is just doing it for points with the knuckleheads that live in Seattle.
Jeez ... I'm about the fall asleep thinking about her ... gotta go ...
I agree with the "Cantwell is boring" comment. All she ever talks about is the energy policy - doesn't she know anything about any other subjects?
As for the forum mentioned above where Murray told the auidence to clap for Maria, I was there. I know exactly what you are talking about. I remember thinking that was so hilarious. I didn't clap. That was just too funny. She didn't even really give the auidence a chance to react to what Cantwell said at all. Did anyone else see it?
